Beyond Perception highlights artists whose work is shaped by lived experiences with disability. This exhibition explores how those perspectives inform and expand creative expression, inviting viewers to rethink ability, access, and ways of engaging with the world through art.

In the Spotlight Gallery, Amelia Casiano presents mixed media works use vibrant palettes and layered textures to explore themes ranging from womanhood to climate change, often drawing from her Puerto Rican heritage and Cleveland upbringing.

Join us to view the exhibited pieces, meet the artists, and be part of what promises to be a vibrant, well-attended celebration of contemporary art.

Both exhibitions run through August 16th.

Accessibility:
A Mobile Sensory Vehicle will be parked in the adjacent pocket park for the entirety of the event, creating a calm space for people who may feel overwhelmed at community events. Thank you to the Cuyahoga County Board of Department of Developmental Disability for providing this service!
 
The building is wheelchair accessible. A ramp is available from the parking garage, accessible parking spaces are located nearby, and an accessible drop-off zone is available on Lee Road directly in front of the building.
